Enithares sinica (Stål) was fed with the 3rd or 4th instar larvae of Aedes aegypti as preys at three different levels; high, medium and low, at 22, 25, 28, and 31℃. When reared with low number of preys at 31℃, E. sinica developed only to its 3rd nymphal stage; however, it could complete its lifecycle under the other temperature conditions. When E. sinica was reared with low number of preys at 22℃, the developmental time of its nymph stage was the longest at 67.4 days. When it was fed with high number of prey at 31℃, the developmental time at its nymphal stage was the shortest at 27.4 days. The developmental rate increased with the increase of temperature and the number of preys. When it was fed with high number of prey, its daily consumption increased with the increase of temperature. When it was reared with high number of preys at both nymphal and adult stages at 22℃, the longevity was the longest at an average of 110.5 days. The fecundity also increased with the increase of the number of prey consumed.
