無線通訊是未來通訊主流趨勢,然而以目前2G林林總總的通訊標準加上未來3G最少四種以上不同標準來看,在可預見的未來,將會是多重通訊標準並立,新舊系統同時運作的情景。
目前,地面的無線通訊系統已面臨基地台佈署過於密集且接近生活區而招致民怨。此時,高空飛行平台以其相較於地面系統的多重路徑衰減與衛星系統的高成本之特色,有可能成為未來通訊平台主流,而廣受矚目。另外,為解決跨平台通訊與多重使用者行動通訊需求,則結合智慧型天線的軟體無線電是一個很好的選擇。
本論文即研究以HALO作為國軍通訊平台,探討其可能架構與作業機制,同時將軟體無線電與智慧型天線概念納入,目的在於規劃一個彈性化且具機動特性的通訊平台。同時,為因應C4I的作戰需求,將此架構結合無人飛行載具與合成孔徑雷達,使其具備影像雷達偵蒐功能,提供高度機動,成本低廉但具多樣性功能之通訊中繼平台。
對軍事通訊而言,為因應戰場不同任務需要,不外乎希望建構多重標準、多重頻段、多重模式、彈性化與安全之通訊架構,而本研究_整合式HALO軍事通訊架構希望能提供國軍一個通訊架構的思考方向。

The wireless communication will be the main trend of telecommunication. However, there will be a situation in the near future with coexist of multi-standards, the new and old system operate concurrently. There are various standards in 2G and at least four standards in 3G.
Recently, the high density and too close to the living community for the base station deploy on the ground has caused civil complain. Currently, HAAP will get the attention and become the main stream of the future communication platform in comparison with multi-path fading and high cost of satellite system. Besides, in order to solve the demand of cross-platform telecommunication and multi-user mobile telecommunication, to combine the usage of the software define radio and smart antenna will be a good choice.
In order to plan a flexible and dynamic telecommunication platform, this thesis researches and investigates the HALO to be the Army communication platform its architecture and operation functionality. The concept of software define radio and smart antenna also be introduced. Further, for the demand of C4I, the HALO will consolidate UAV and synthesis aperture radar to provide mid-platform with multi-functionality of radar image collection, high flexibility and low cost.
In order to fit differentiation of warfare mission, the military communication system will be constructed in multi-standards, multi-channels, multi-models, flexibility and safety architecture. And we hope the integrated HALO army telecommunication architecture in the research of this thesis can provide the army communication direction.
