本研究之研究目的為下列三項:1. 瞭解台灣資訊電子廠商組織核心資源的類型與特性,以資源基礎理論解釋廠商組織核心資源的實證研究,以協助瞭解企業本身的價值所在。2. 透過企業組織核心資源,探討資訊電子業採用此三種不同競爭策略的情況,以及利用策略取向所獲得的策略集群廠商,彼此在組織核心資源上的差異情況。3. 探討不同的策略集群廠商,在擁有不同的組織核心資源下,會在哪些經營績效指標方面會有較為優異的表現。
本研究之研究方法有:1. 因素分析;2. 集群分析;3. 多變量變異數分析。研究對象為台灣資訊電子業廠商。
本研究實證結果發現:1. 組織核心資源的五重要因素,分別為:策略管理能力、組織資產能力、整體運作能力、組織技術能力、策略性資產。2. 依競爭策略作為集群分析的基礎,可分為三群:低成本導向群、利基差異化群、全面型導向群。3. 集群間組織核心資源因素差異之分析結果。整體能力因素分析中我們可以發現在各個能力因素中,「組織資產能力」與「策略性資產」方面都存在著顯的差異。而「策略管理能力」、「整體運作能力」、「組織技術能力」均未達到顯著水準,表示各個集群在「策略管理能力」、「整體運作能力」、「組織技術能力」方面均無顯著的差異。4. 集群間經營績效差異之分析結果。各個集群在「經營目標達成程度」存在顯著的差異。
The main objectives of this research include:(1) To understand the styles and characteristics of core competence, and to provide the study of resource-base the theory. (2) Study on the important factors of core competence when the different groups have their own competitive strategies. (3) Study on how to improve their performances when the different strategic groups have their own different core competences.
The research methods are factor analysis , cluster analysis and multiple analysis of variance. The research samples are the information industry of Taiwan.
There are some empirical results as the follows:
First, there are 5 important factors of core competence, such as strategic manage-ment capability, organizational asset capability, overall operational capability, organiza-tional technological capability and strategic asset.
Second, The cluster analysis is based on competitive strategies and firms of the in-formation industry of Taiwan can be classified to 3 strategic groups. The strategic groups include cost leader group, niche difference group and overall leader group.
Next, the following is the results of the core competence among the different stra-tegic groups. We can find that the results indicate organizational asset capability and strategic asset are significant among the different strategic groups. In other words, or-ganizational asset capability includes machinery equipment, land and factory, brand, and human relationship is significant among the strategic groups. Strategic asset in-cludes database, intellectual property and marketing channel is significant among the strategic groups. And strategic management capability, overall operational capability, and organizational technological capability are non-significant among the strategic groups.
Finally, the following is the results of the performances among the different strate-gic groups. We can find that the results indicate the performance of business goal is only significant among the strategic groups.
