摘 要

本研究主要探討躁鬱症患者的人格特質與其自我照顧能力和生活適應之間的關係。本研究係屬相關性研究，受試者來源採purposive sampling，受試者組別分配採獨立樣本設計。病患組（躁鬱症患者）受試者皆由私立中山醫學大學附設醫院身心科門診轉介獲得，健康組（身心健康者）受試者由自願參與本研究且符合相關受試條件者組成，各組收錄受試者50名。本研究所使用的研究工具包括：自我照顧量表修訂版，生活適應量表以及「華人基本性格量表」（台灣地區簡式版本）三種。每位受試者均需接受上述三樣測驗工具之施測，並將各項測驗工具所獲取之資料進行相關統計考驗。本研究的結果摘要如下：

一、儘管症狀已獲得改善，躁鬱症患者的自我照顧
能力仍明顯不如一般身心健康者。
二、儘管症狀已獲得改善，躁鬱症患者的生活適應
狀況仍明顯不如一般身心健康者。
三、相較於一般身心健康者，躁鬱症患者性格顯得
較為悲觀善感。

Abstract

This research focuses on the relationship of personality traits with self-care and life adjustment of Bipolar Disorder patients. The research is a correlational study with independent-group design, and subjects were selected by using purposive sampling method. The patient group (Bipolar Disorder patients) subjects were recruited from the Psychiatry Department of Chung-Shan Medical University Hospital. The normal group (mentally healthy persons) subjects were composed of qualified volunteers. Each group consists of 50 subjects. The assessment tools used in this research are: Self-Care Inventory (Revised), Life Adjustment Inventory, and Chinese Basic Personality Inventory (Taiwan Region Simplified Edition). Every subject was administered the aforementioned 3 assessment tools, and the results were analyzed statistically. The following is the summary of the results:

A.Although the patients'' symptoms have
