本研究結合了先前幾前項研究,包含了人體呼吸控制模擬器(最佳化控制器)、NPB7200人工呼吸器、人工肺以及人工肺通氣後的呼吸訊號量測擷取介面軟體Analysis Plus!等,做一個完整的系統整合。
本論文第一階段旨在架構一套可量測呼吸功的系統,並驗證本呼吸功量測系統能否因應人體呼吸控制模擬器所模擬出的最佳化呼吸參數,在經由送氣裝置對人工肺通氣後,所量測到的呼吸功亦將是最小化。當呼吸功量測系統完成驗證程序後,第二階段則旨在找出NPB7200人工呼吸器在不同的通氣波形與通氣模式設定下的參數值,以期得到最小的呼吸功。本系統的完成,將使這一系列研究更趨完備,並期能在發展一具智慧型控制器來控制人工呼吸器的未來研究中,增加寶貴的參考依據。
The research work of this thesis can be divided into two sections. The first is to implement a measurement system which can integrate the observed respiratory waveforms and breathing patterns into the index of “Work of Breathing (WOB)”. To verify the completed WOB measurement system, it was applied to the previously developed Optimal Ventilation Device, which consists of the Optimal Human Respiratory Control Simulator, a mechanical ventilation device, an artificial lung, and a GM 350 graphic monitor. It is assumed that the Optimal Ventilation Device which was driven by the optimal controller should also correspond to a minimum WOB in the implemented measurement system. Once the system is successfully verified, a series of experiments would then be applied to the NPB 7200 ventilator in the second half of the research. Several control modes and various ventilation waveforms of the NPB 7200 would be utilized with the artificial lung. On the other hand, different breathing parameters during each require mechanical ventilation are tuned for possible minimal WOB. The completeness of the thesis is expected to work as a performance report for the use and manipulation of related ventilators. However, it is also expected to act as a further reference for the design of a hypothesized Optimal Ventilator which yields the minimum WOB.
