在本篇論文中，我們在分散式網路教學平台Asian-Mind裡提出並建構了一個系統資源管理機制，將課程內容快取到靠近學習者所在地的影音伺服器，並限制同時瀏覽影音課程教材學習者數目，以確保影音教學品質。
Asian-Mind是一個學習管理和教學系統平台。此教學平台可提供分散式教學課程。它也提供一個可以管理所有種類的多媒體教材，如影像、聲音、文字和flash等等的彈性架構。
為了能夠在課程內容存取上有較好的品質，連續的影音課程內容會以課程內容存取之受歡迎程度為依據，分散快取(cache)儲存到各個靠近學習者的課程影音伺服器裡，我們並利用Asian-Mind的允入控制機制(admission control)來保持影音課程的瀏覽品質。
目前Asian-Mind網路學習平台跨越了實踐大學台北及高雄兩個校區、輔仁大學資訊工程學系，以及使用中華電信公司上網的用戶四個區域，提供了十二門選修課程。

In this thesis, we propose and implement a system resource management mechanism on the distributed web-based e-learning platform, Asian-Mind, which caches the course content to a local site nearby the learners and conducts admission control for learner access to ensure the quality of the e-learning experience.
Asian-Mind is a platform for both learning and course management. It offers a lot of distributed courses as well as a flexible architecture managing all sorts of multimedia materials such as videos, sounds, texts, flashes and so on.
For quality concern of content accessing, the continuous course contents will be distributed over and cached to the course content servers nearby the learners according to the popularity of the contents. To ensure the learning quality, learning accesses are then admitted by the admission control mechanism equipped with Asian-Mind.
Currently, Asian-Mind is successfully used as the network learning platform across the two campuses (Taipei campus and KaoHsiung campus) of Shih-Chien University, Fu-Jen University , and HiNet (the largest ISP in Taiwan). Twelve E-learning courses are now available.
