The study is to find out the quality of work life (QWL) and work attitude of the employees in BSMI, MOEA, Taiwan by the way of paper research and sampling survey. To discover what kind of personal factors would inference the QWL, work attitude and personality. Finally to discuss the relationship between personality, QWL and work attitude. The study is limited in the employees of BSMI, MOEA, Taiwan. There were 1,341 employees in the end of year 2000, including Taipei headquarters and 6 branches. The total questionnaires sent out are 670, 427 efficient (63.73%). The methods used are 1.factor analysis, 2.cross table, 3.cluster analysis, 4.Chi-Square automatic interaction detector (CHAID), 5.classification and regression tree (C&RT), and 6.canonical correlation analysis. The main outcomes are: 1.The marriage situation and official position would have inference on social quality. 2.The difference between branches would have inference on the achievement quality. 3.The difference between branches and age would have inference on the work attitude. 4.The employees in different branches do not have the same personality. 5.The one who has the personality of higher achievement and self-control trend would have better relationship with his supervisors and work fellows. 6.The one who has the personality of higher achievement trend would have better self-growth. 7.The one who has better relationship with his supervisors, work fellows, and family members would have higher devotion to work. 8.The one who has better feedback and diversity of work would have higher devotion to work. 9.The one who has the personality of higher achievement trend would have higher devotion to work.
