本研究之目的為探討高中職女學生飲食節制行為及其相關因素,採分層抽樣的方式,選取高雄市九所高中職之女學生為研究對象,有效樣本為1076人,以不記名自填式的結構問卷方式進行資料收集,所得資料採描述性統計、X2檢定、ANOVA及對數迴歸分析進行統計資料分析。
研究結果發現:研究對象的體型為正常體型者佔61.62%;有39.78%的研究對象為心理健康狀況欠佳的危險群;身體心像量表中研究對象在外表重視程度上有62.92%為高關注程度者、體重重視為高關注程度者佔34.11%;72.21%自評體重是屬於過重或肥胖的,而對身體各部位感到不滿意者佔了28.35%。在飲食節制上,研究對象中達到飲食異常程度的有12.17%;具有飲食高失控傾向的則有2.98%。另在飲食節制行為的影響因素上,影響飲食異常傾向的因素有外表的重視程度高、體重的重視程度高、體重自評為過重或肥胖等三個因素;而其中以體重的重視程度高者其飲食異常傾向的危險性最高;在影響飲食高失控傾向的因素上有心理健康狀況欠佳、外表的重視程度高、體重的重視關注程度高、體重自評為過重或肥胖等因素,而其中以心理健康狀況欠佳及對體重的重視程度高者其飲食高失控傾向的危險性較高。
本研究結果可做為學校教師、護士,輔導人員對於高中職女學生有關於心理健康狀況、身體心像及飲食節制行為的了解,對平日有節食減肥現象之學生多加關注,並注意其情緒及身體變化,及教導學生壓力、焦慮及負向情緒出現時,其正確宣洩及調適的方式,以提昇高中職女學生的身心健康。
The goal of this research was to study eating restrained behavior of high school girls and its relationship with body shape, mental health status and body images. Nine high school girls in Kaohsiung were selected via stratified sampling from the 1,076 potential candidates who filled out the anonymous structured questionnaire in a cross-sectional survey. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, c2-test, one-way ANOVA, and logistic regression analysis.
The results demonstrated :
1.About 61.62% of the subjects have normal body shape, and 39.72% of the subjects belong to high-risk groups with poor mental health.
2.According to the body-image questionaire, 62.92% of the subjects cared greatly about their appearance, while 34.11% cared greatly about their overweight preoccupation. 72.21% of the subjects think they are overweight or obese, and 28.35% are dissatisfied with their body parts.
3.Subjects are dietary restraint about 12.17%,and high-dietary disinhibition about 2.98%
4.Appearance orientation, overweight preoccupation and self-classified weight were all significant factors of dietary restraint; among them, overweight preoccupation was most likely to contribute to dietary restraint.
5.Mental health status, appearance orientation, overweight preoccupation and self -classified weight were all significant factors of dietary disinhibition, among them, mental health status and overweight preoccupation were most likely to contribute to dietary disinhibition.
Teachers, nurses, and school counselors can utilize the results of this research to better understand eating restrained behavior and its relationship with body shape, mental health status and body image of high school girls. It is important to pay attention to students who are habitual dieters and observe their emotional and physical changes as well as to teach them how to alleviate their stress, anxiety, and other negative emotions in order to improve their health.
