在勞力密集產業部門產值佔製造業比率''就業人數比率''附加價值比率及相對勞動生產力逐年下降,顯示在國內已失去比較優勢,此等產業外移至中國,誘發國內技術產業快生成及成長,促進台灣產業升級.因此,製造業赴大陸投資不會造成產業空洞化.

The purpose of this study is to discuss how the Manufacturing Industries of Taiwan''s are investing to China influences the Hollowing-Out in Taiwan. The Foreign Direct Invest becomes Critial to the economic development in Taiwan. Capital Mobility around the world is searching for the optimized combination of production factors obtaining maximum profits.
