本研究目的在探討在一網路競爭問答遊戲系統中,匿名競爭對學習者在「對競爭對手的看法」、「學習焦慮」、「學習動機」、「學習信心」與「學習滿意度」等學習經驗上的影響。研究對象乃是以一國小四年級學生兩班(共72人),經由隨機分派成為實驗組與控制組後,由研究者根據學科主題,利用一網路競爭遊戲系統實施連續三週之問答遊戲競賽,並於實驗最後一週,由受試者填寫「對競爭對手的看法量表」及「學習經驗量表」。回收有效量表70份,以t考驗分析匿名組間競爭與面對面組間競爭之學習者在依變項上的差異情形,結果發現,匿名組間競爭與面對面組間競爭之學習者,在對競爭對手的看法上、學習動機、學習信心與學習滿意度上並無顯著差異;而在學習焦慮上,則是匿名組間競爭的學習者顯著低於面對面組間競爭的學習者(p<.01)。最後,研究者根據研究結果,提出教學、教學系統設計以及未來研究上之結論與建議。
  The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of anonymity on students’ attitudes toward competitors, anxiety, motivation, confidence and satisfaction in an networked synchronous competitive gaming environment. 72 fourth-grade students from two classes from an elementary school in Tainan participated in the study for three instructional sessions for three consecutive weeks. At the end of the last instructional session, each of the students filled out “students’ perception toward competitors scale” and “students’ attitudes toward past learning experience scale” individually. Data analysis done on the 70 valid questionnaire indicated that students assigned to the anonymity condition scored statistically significant lower on anxiety scale than those in the face-to-face condition (p<.01). However, there were no statistically significant differences in students’ attitudes toward competitors, nor in students’ motivation, confidence, and satisfaction between students in the anonymity condition and those in the face-to-face condition. Plausible explanations for the findings and the implications for system design and future studies are offered.
