在分散式的工作流程管理系統(Distributed WfMSs)中,由於執行工作流程(Workflow)的工作流程引擎(Workflow Engine)分散在不同的區域或不同的國家,因此、工作流程中資料的發送問題就顯得特別的重要,所以在本篇論文中,我們提出一個作用於工作流程管理系統(Workflow Management Systems, WfMSs)的新型態資料發送策略模式。這個模式支援一套稱做工作流程資料發送語言- Workflow Data Routing Language(簡稱WfDRL),WfDRL允許工作流程設計師能夠以程式設計的方式來定義Workflow中每個活動(Activity)對資料的作用情形(例如:Read、Write、Possible Write),根據Activity對資料的作用情形來規劃出Activity之間的資料傳遞策略(Data Passing Strategy)來處理工作流程執行時的資料發送問題。運用WfDRL來設計工作流程程序(Workflow Process),我們可以在Workflow執行時,依照Activity對資料的作用情形及Activity之間的資料傳遞策略,不但可以減少Activity之間的資料發送、並允許資料於適當的時機發送以減少Activity等待資料發送的時間,使得Workflow在執行時具有最佳化的資料發送功能,以降低網路的負載量並大幅度地提昇Distributed WfMSs的整體執行效率。

In Distributed Workflow Management System(WfMSs), the data routing is mort important due to WorkflowEngines are widely distributed over different localities or countries. In this paper, we propose a new data-passing strategy model for WfMSs. This model is supported with a new language, call the Workflow Data Routing
Language(WfDRL), which allows the designer to design the Workflow Process about every Activity to act on the data(ex : Read、Write、Possible Write). According Activity to act on the data, designer to planning the "Data Passing Strategy" between Activity to handle the data passing problem in Workflow. With the WfDRL to design the Workflow Process, we can reduce the data routing, allows data routing in a suitable time to reduce Activity waiting for the data and further to reduce the network overhead and improve the efficiency in Distributed WfMSs.
