利用行動代理人於網路管理已證明可有效提升網路管理之自動化與智慧性,目前大多數研究與系統均著眼在單一網路管理平台上的應用;隨著全球化發展的趨勢,許多公司藉合併以增強其競爭力,在公司合併的過程中網路系統的整合與管理是一個重要的議題,本研究之目的在探討如何應用行動代理人技術於異質網路系統之管理,使整合之異質網路管理系統可分享網路管理經驗、有良好擴充性、及有前瞻性的資訊模型,以適應多樣化網路設備的管理,本研究提出一套「應用行動代理人於異質網路管理之整合」系統,本系統具有下列三個特點:
1、以多層架構管理者(Multiarchitectural Manager)方式整合異質網路系統。
2、使用CIM(Common Information Model)作為資訊模型。
3、可做到網路管理資訊轉換及網路管理經驗分享。
本論文提出的異質網路管理整合系統採用整合平台的觀念,因此能保有原有管理系統的架構,整合過程對公司的運作影響也比較小;並加入了互助式學習之機制使網管經驗與知識可共享。本系統提供Web-Based虛擬工作站的機制,讓網管人員可以在任何時候任何地點都能執行網路管理的工作,並提供了動態遠端變更網路管理服務機制,以減輕網管人員更新網管服務時的負擔。
It is convinced that the mobile agent technology can improve the levels of automation and intelligence of a network management system (NMS). Most research and applications to date can only apply this new technique in a homogeneous network environment. However, with the trend of globalization, many corporations adopt the policy of acquisition to increase their competition capabilities. It becomes important to integrate the existing NMS’s when the acquisition happens. The purpose of this research is to apply mobile agent technique in a heterogeneous NMS to allow the sharing of operation information and management experience within a heterogeneous environment. The proposed system has the following features:
1. It uses Multiarchitectural Manager to integrate heterogeneous NMS’s.
2. It uses CIM as the integrated information model.
3. It allows the exchange and sharing of network management information and experience.
The proposed architecture uses the idea of the integrated network management platform (i.e., the multi-architectural manager), which allows the integration of heterogeneous NMS’s without changing their internal structures. By using the cooperative learning mechanism, the integrated system can share the management experience. In the proposed system, administrators can use the web-based virtual management console to execute the network management tasks and to update network management services anytime and anywhere.
