由於網際網路的普及與高傳輸頻寬的蓬勃發展,所以對快速、長距離、高容量的通訊系統需求與日遽增。當傳輸速率在40Gb/s以上時,色散將會是一個迫切解決的嚴重問題。因此,本論文便針對脈衝在光纖中傳遞的情況,藉由設計薄膜反射或穿透產生之相位變化來達到色散補償的效果。


The field of optical communication systems has explosive growth in terms of the capacity that can be transmitted over a single fiber cable. The need of date rate is more and more. When the data rates larger than or equal to 40Gbit/s, dispersion will be tricky. So, we discuss that light propagates in fiber and find proper thin film design to compensate dispersion by using the change of phase.
