本研究之主要目的在於探討「焦點解決取向團體諮商」,對國小單親兒童於家庭關係信念、自我觀念及行為困擾上之輔導效果研究,以作為未來國小輔導工作的參考及應用。
本研究採取等組前後測及追蹤測之實驗設計,以彰化市某國小16名五、六年級單親兒童為研究對象,依性別將受試者隨機分派至實驗組與控制組。實驗組成員接受十次的焦點解決取向團體諮商,而控制組則不做任何處理。本研究以「父母及親子關係意見量表」、「兒童自我觀念量表」及「行為困擾量表」測量受試者前、後及追蹤測,在各依變項上的反應情形,所得資料以單因子共變數分析進行統計考驗,並依據與實驗組成員及其導師之訪談和領導者之觀察作為研究結果的佐證及輔助。
本研究之主要結論如下:
一、在立即輔導效果方面
(一)實驗組兒童在家庭關係信念中的譴責母親、自我譴責及整體信念具有立即輔導效果;而在譴責父親、希望父母復和、害怕被拋棄或譏笑、同儕迴避則沒有立即的輔導效果。
(二)實驗組兒童在自我觀念中的容貌、幸福及整體自我觀念與控制組有立即的輔導效果,而在焦慮、行為等方面則沒有立即的輔導效果。
(三)實驗組兒童在行為困擾中的學校生活及行為總困擾上有立即的輔導效果;而在自我關懷、身心發展、人際關係及家庭生活則沒有立即的輔導效果。
二、在持續性的輔導效果方面
(一)實驗組兒童在家庭關係信念上的希望父母復和、自我譴責及總信念上具有持續性的輔導效果;而在譴責父親、譴責母親、害怕被拋棄或譏笑及同儕迴避上則沒有持續性的輔導效果。
(二)實驗組兒童在自我觀念上的行為、幸福及整體自我觀念上具有持續性的輔導效果,但在焦慮、容貌則沒有持續性的輔導效果。
(三)實驗組兒童在行為困擾中的自我關懷、學校生活、家庭生活及總行為困擾上具有持續性的輔導效果;但在身心發展、人際關係上則未具有持續性的輔導效果。
三、對實驗組成員質的探討
由與團體成員及其導師訪談和領導者之觀察中發現,成員在實驗處理後,能對有關家庭關係方面的信念重新建構,建立較正向的看法及信念:增強對自我的肯定,發現本身所擁有的資源,對本身持有更多正向的概念;並且能減少行為上之困擾。
最後,研究者針對研究結果加以分析討論,並對輔導實務及未來研究題建議。
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to explore the strategy of Solution-Focused Group Counseling Program, which is used to examine the combination of the relationship between parents and children, self-conception, and behavior disturbance for single-parental children. This research would be valuable for reference and application for future elementary school counseling affairs.
The experimental design of this research consists of pretest, posttest, and follow-up test. The subjects of this research are 16 fifth and sixth grade students at some elementary school in Changhua. These students are all single-parental children. These students are randomly divided into two groups, i.e., experiment group and control group. Members in the experiment group take the lessons of Solution-Focused Group Counseling for ten times; however, the control group members receive no treatments. We have used Scale of Relationship Between Parents and Kids, Children’s Self-Concept Scale, and Behavior Disturbance Scale to measure the subjects’ results of pretest, posttest, and follow-up test and the interactive conditions of each dependent variable. All the data are analyzed by using ANCOVA. In addition, the results of interviews with experiment group members and homeroom teachers and observing subjects’ activities were both used as the proofs and supplements of this research.
Conclusions of this research are as follows:
I. With regard to the immediate counseling effects:
1. For single-parental children in elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows immediate effects on improving children’s beliefs about family relationship of blaming mother, self-blame, and overall beliefs. In contrast, the other items of blaming father, hopes for reunion, fear of abandonment, mocking, and escape from peers shows no obvious immediate effects for improvement.
2. For single-parental children in the elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows immediate effects on improving children’s self-conception of looks, happiness, and overall self-conception. In contrast, the other items of anxiety and behavior shows no obvious immediate counseling effects.
3. For single-parental children in the elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows immediate effects on improving children’s behavior disturbance of school life and the whole behavior disturbance. In contrast, the other items of self-concern, physical and mental development, interpersonal relationship, and family life shows no obvious immediate counseling effects.
II. With regard to the lasting counseling effects:
1. For single-parental children in the elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows lasting effects on improving children’s beliefs about family relationship of hopes for reunion, self-blame, and overall beliefs. In contrast, the other items of blaming father, blaming mother, and fear of abandonment, mocking, and escape from peers shows no obvious lasting counseling effects.
2. For single-parental children in the elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows lasting effects on improving children’s self-conception of anxiety and looks. In contrast, the other items of behavior, happiness, and overall self-concept shows no obvious maintaining counseling effects.
3. For single-parental children in the elementary school, Solution-Focused Group Counseling shows lasting effects on improving children’s behavior disturbance of self-concern, school life, family life, and the whole behavior disturbance. In contrast, the other items of physical and mental development and interpersonal relationship shows no obvious lasting counseling effects.
III. The qualitative exploration of experiment group members:
According to both the interviews with group members and homeroom teachers and the findings of observing the counseling activities, members could build up more positive thinking and rebuild more belief in family relationship after the experiments,. Members also could develop their self-confidence, find out what they already had on themselves, hold more positive thinking of things, and decrease behavioral disturbance.
Finally, at the end of this thesis, the focus was on the analysis and discussion of our research results. We also give suggestions for counseling practices and future study.
