摘 要
本研究主要目的在探討國小學童環境行為，根據研究結果提出推展國小環境教育的建議，本研究採分層隨機抽樣的方式，以花蓮地區11所學校1092名學生為研究對象，以「花蓮地區國小學童環境行為調查問卷」做測驗工具;並探討國小學童背景變項（性別、種族、年級、居住地、社經地位、過去生活經驗、環境資訊來源）與環境行為之關連性，以經過效度處理及信度考驗自編之「環境行為量表」做研究工具，採用問卷調查法蒐集資料。
研究的主要結果為：
一、國小學生認為垃圾問題為最嚴重的環境問題，其他依序為水污染、景觀破壞、噪音污染。
二、國小學生環境知識的主要來源為大眾傳播媒體，其次為學校課程的教學，學校安排的環境教育推展活動與他人的交談，僅佔少數比例。
三、男女學生環境知識及環境問題態度上，無顯著差異。
四、六年級學生的環境知識及環境態度得分，顯著優於四、五年級學生。
五、市鎮學生環境知識及對環境問題態度得分，顯著優於鄉村及山地學生，鄉村及山地學生之間無顯著差異。
六、國小學童環境行為的現況良好。
就整體環境行為而言，國小學童環境行為屬中上的程度。
七、不同背景變項在環境行為上的差異情形如下：
（一） 男女學童在環境行為上的表現女生優於男生。
（二） 四年級學童與六年級學童在環境行為上的表現沒有顯著差異。
根據以上的發現，本研究就國小環境教育課程設計及未來研究提出建議，以供提昇國小學童環境行為及日後進一步研究之參考。

The Study of the Environmental Conservation Behaviors of Elementary Pupils in Hualien Area

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is focus on the understanding the environmental conservation behaviors of elementary school pupils in Hualien area. The result of this study will be expected to use for the improvement the environment education in Hualien. The data collected by randomized sampling of 1092 respondents. The study examines the relationship between interview cooperation and procedural response quality including 11 local elementary schools in Hualien Area. The responses were analyzed towards the perceptions of respondents with social background model, a Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM) based on the collateral variances.( Including sexes, races, grade, residential location, socio-economic status, previous experience and environmental information sources). There are six conclusion in this study as follow:
1.The pupils expressed the most devastating environmental issue is
garbage with next issues water pollution, landscape damage and lastly
the noise pollution.
2.The sources of environmental knowledge for the pupils were mainly
derived from mass media, namely TV, newspaper, etc. The next chief source is school curriculum. The school activities associated with environmental education through interaction with other adults or educators is indeed at the bottom of the list.
3.The perceptions among boys and girls towards the environmental knowledge and attitude remain insignificant.
4.The perceptions among 6 graders towards the environmental
knowledge and attitude remain more structured than the 4 and 5 graders.
5.The perceptions among pupils in metropolitan areas tends to be more sufficient than those in country areas and mountainous areas. While the perception among pupils in the country areas and mountainous areas remain insignificant.
6.The current collective scale on the perforamce of the pupils towards
environmental conservation scores high, while comparatively the
overall performance the school pupils the scores remains medial.
7. The environmental knowledge and environmental attitudes were not
significantly different by sex.
（1）Girls' environmental conservation behaviors were more than boys'
environmental conservation behaviors.
（2）The higher grade was,the more environmental knowledge and attitudes had.
