雖然台灣婦女的勞動參與率持續地上升,但因結婚或生育而有離職經驗的婦女,仍佔相當大的比例。許多研究顯示,在勞動市場中工作經驗的中斷,除了影響其工作的保障及日後的升遷之外,其薪資所得也將因此有不利的影響。然而,婦女們可能為了適應同時承擔工作和家庭責任的雙重需求,婦女們選擇職業時,較易選擇折舊率相對較低的職業類別。本文所嘗試的努力,探究不同教育程度的婦女進出勞動市場的模式有何不同;以及各教育程度的再就業婦女其薪資的變化有無差異等。因此採用1993年與2000年的「人力資源運用調查」與「台灣婦女婚育與就業調查」兩份資料來探究所欲解決的研究問題。從本文的實証分析中,我們可整理出三點發現:第一,教育程度越高者,持續就業的傾向最明顯。其次,再就業婦女因現職與原職不同所形成的社會流動,離職原因為結婚者與為生育者形成的社會流動模式差異甚大。第三,以各教育程度實際中斷年數為依據,各教育程度因結婚與因生育離職的中斷代價,清楚地呈現出教育程度愈高者代價愈大的現象。
Though the rate of women labor market participation rises continuously, there are still quite big proportion which women have the experience of dropping job for marriage or fertility. As researches show, dropping job in the labor market would have disadvantageous effect on their indemnification, promotion and salary of the job in the future. Then, because of the double need for job and family, women would choose the job of low depreciation rate. I try to find what the difference of getting in and out labor market models and the change of the salary among education degrees. Thus, I use the 1993 and 2000 Taiwan Manpower Survey Data and Taiwan Women Marriage- fertility to do the empirical analysis. There are three results. First, the higher education level, the more continuous employment. Then, the employment mobility exists in the getting in and out women labor market and changes by the age and education. Third, the higher education level, the more depreciation cost of the dropping job.
