摘要
加值型超媒體介面的註解、多目的鏈結及Typed Links,對於使用者操作系統,提供了資訊快速瀏覽和正確的導覽能幫助決策,相信採用加值型超媒體介面的資訊系統,對決策支援會有顯著的貢獻。
本實驗的資訊系統為汽車公司使用的系統,針對汽車公司管理者在作決策時,會用到的多維度資料瀏覽,幫助資源運用的銷售預測,及訂定廣告預算的迴歸分析等方面,作為主要的系統功能,從系統分析、系統開發、系統測試及系統俢正等步驟循序漸進作出兩個web-based的資訊系統,過程中一組系統加入加值型超媒體介面(多目的鏈結、註解及Typed Links),而另一組則是採用一般Web介面來作比較(單目的鏈結、留言板及Normal Links)。
本研究的目的,在於探討採用加值型超媒體介面的資訊系統,對於支援管理者作決策上有何顯著的助益,並且以採用一般Web介面的資訊系統來作對照,透過180位具有使用Web存取資訊的經驗,以及管理學背景之資管學生,來操作系統,利用系統所提供的資訊,來回答本研究所設計的問題。藉由實驗組(採用加值型超媒體介面的資訊系統)和對照組(採用一般Web介面的資訊系統),回答關於精準度和決策方面的問題;再以實驗後得到的數據,以量化的方式,來衡量採用加值型超媒體介面的系統,在精準度、精準度時間、決策品質、決策時間方面、績效及使用者滿意度方面,是否優於一般Web介面的系統,藉以衡量加值型超媒體介面在決策支援方面的助益。
根據實驗後的統計分析,結果如下,第一組,在精準度、精準度時間、決策時間、績效和使用者滿意度方面,多目的鏈結均顯著優於單目的鏈結;第二組,在精準度、精準度時間、決策品質、決策時間、績效和使用者滿意度方面,註解均顯著優於留言板;第三組,在精準度、精準度時間、決策品質、決策時間、績效和使用者滿意度方面,Typed Links均顯著優於Normal Links。
根據結果,本研究發現在系統設計時,同樣的功能,採用加值型超媒體介面的資訊系統,對決策支援方面的助益,確實高於採用一般Web的介面的資訊系統。


ABSTRACT
Many researches using experimental method to examine benefits of different representation styles in decision-making were presented in the literatures, but few researches were conduct to understand the benefits of hypermedia support in decision-making. Although, advantages of hypermedia were also discussed in the literatures, there were no proofs to support that these advantages were truly helpful in decision-making. According to these two reasons, a web-based system with value-added hypermedia interfaces (i.e. destination links, annotations and typed links) was built to compare with a system having three general web interfaces (i.e. single destination links, message boards and normal links) to prove that value-added hypermedia interfaces were beneficial to decision-making by using experimental design. Six independent variables accuracy, accuracy time, decision quality, decision time, performance and user satisfaction, were facilitated to measure difference between these two systems.
The goals of this study are: to develop a system prototype a web-based system with multiple hypermedia interfaces, to compare the difference between a web-based system with value-added hypermedia interfaces and a system with general web interfaces in accuracy, accuracy time, decision quality, decision time, performance and user satisfaction by using ANOVA and MANOVA, and to prove that value-added hypermedia interfaces is beneficial to decision-making using statistics analysis. 180 subjects were arranged to three experimental teams, which are multiple destination links vs. single destination links, annotations vs. message boards, typed links vs. normal links.
According to statistics analysis, we found that subjects using a web-based system with value-added hypermedia interfaces had better scores than subjects using a system with general web interfaces in terms of accuracy, accuracy time, decision quality, decision time, performance and user satisfaction. These outcomes show that value-added hypermedia interfaces are actually useful to decision making.
