In the actural experiment, engineers always care about the design which can be constructed easily and has the least cost.
Furthermore,they perfer the important main effects and interations are clear to estimate. Taguchi(1986) proposed the idea of robust designs to reduce the performance variation in
products and processes. However, in Taguchi's Product Array, the total number of experimental runs may be huge. In this paper ,we hope to reduce the number of runs by releasing the orthogonal condition of the outer array, and let the main effects of control factors and control-by-noise interations are still clear. We also discuss the Taguchi's Product Array, Kronecker Product Array and compare the construction for 2-level resolution IV robust-design experiment of Chen(2001) to Wu and Hamada's (2000) single array.
