隨著電子系統朝向高功能化、高密度化、高可靠性且輕薄短小的潮流下，印刷電路板在技術層次的提昇上也朝高密度佈線、高腳數、細微化、多晶片化及面積縮小化等方向進展，本文提出以電腦視覺為基礎，結合影像處理，光學原理及自動化控制等技術，發展了一套印刷電路板表面瑕疵檢測系統來取代一般之人工檢測，以滿足高精確度及高速檢測的要求。
本文主要針對晶片電容及晶片電阻等表面黏著元件做檢測，檢測內容包含：缺件、位移、歪斜及銲點瑕疵檢測等，利用樣本比對的方式，結合相關係數法、形態學及blob分析技術，成功的找出判別瑕疵之方法，並設計了三層光源系統解決銲點不易檢測的缺點，最後經實驗證明，本檢測系統具高度之可行性及正確性。

With a growing trend towards high functionality, density, reliability, and smaller size, in electronics systems, the technical upgrade of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) also advances in dense layout, high pincount, multi-chips and minimizing. This research is done on the basis of computer vision and combined with image processing and optics principle to develop a vision inspection system for the defects on the surface of PCB, which could replace commonly-applied human inspection and meet the requirements of high precision and hi-speed check.
The detection, which includes component missing, misplacement, tilting, and soldering defects, is performed on those surface adhesion components of chips capacitors and resistors. It uses pattern recognition technology combined with correlation coefficient method, morphology and blob analysis technology and is also designed with a 3-layer light system to overcome the shortcomings in detecting soldering defects. This system finally succeeds in figuring out the approaches to the detection for defects and also results in high feasibility and accuracy.
