本研究的目的是為瞭解SF-36臺灣版與WHOQOL-BREF臺灣版問卷所測量的社區老人的生活品質概況及兩種測量工具在測試社區老人生活品質時的相關性與差異性。本研究屬量性橫斷性的研究，採方便取樣方式，以居住於台北巿士林區65歲以上老人為主要研究對象，以電話訪談進行資料的收集，共收集有效樣本150人。研究結果發現，社區老人自覺健康狀況大部份屬於中上程度，SF-36(Short Form 36)生理健康構面(physical component summaries；PCS) 得分為47.5±9.05分，心理健康構面(mental component summaries；MCS) 得分為54.38±9.64分；WHOQOL-BREF(World Health Organization Quality of Life BREF version)生活品質四大範疇(four domains)以環境範疇的得分最高15.30±1.63分。人口學特質中以經濟、疾病、自覺快樂與自覺健康狀況與社區老人生活品質有關。兩種測量工具在評估社區老人生活品質時，其內在一致性總量表的Cronbach’s α值均大於0.90，各分量表Cronbach’s α值均大於0.70，內容效度、效標關聯效度與區辨效度良好。在建構效度的部份，兩份量表經因素分析的結果，其理論性結構與實證性結構略有出入。兩份測量工具的相關性方面，SF-36八個健康次量表，除心理健康（MH）與WHOQOL-BREF中的心理範疇相關較強外，其餘SF-36的七個健康次量表均與WHOQOL-BREF的生理範疇的相關較高。WHOQOL-BREF的生理健康範疇及環境範疇與SF-36生理健康構面（PCS）的相關性較高；WHOQOL-BREF的心理範疇及社會關係範疇與SF-36心理健康構面（MCS）的相關性較高。本研究的結果，可增進對社區老人生活品質狀況及兩種測量工具在評估社區老人生活品質結果異同的瞭解，並可供未來有關社區老人生活品質研究之參考。

The purpose of this paper is to explore the quality of life of community-dwelling elderly people measured by Short Form 36 (SF-36) Taiwan Standard Version and World Health Organization Quality of Life BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) Taiwan Version. In addition, this paper attempts to examine the relation between those two versions. This study categorizes to quantitative cross-sectional research, which uses telephone interview to collect 150 elderly people who are above 65 years old and live in Shi-Lin area of Taipei City.
Research results show that most elderly people have good self-aware health. The physical component summaries (PCS) of SF-36 is 47.5±9.05, and the mental component summaries (MCS) is 54.38±9.64. On the other hand, the highest score of WHOQOL-BREF is located in the domain of environment which is 15.30±1.63. The result also finds that the demographic factors of economic status、illness condition、self-aware happiness and self-aware health are highly related to the quality of life.
The Cronbach’s value（α）of internal consistency both in the Taiwan Version of SF-36 and WHOQOL-BREF is higher than 0.90, and theαin each domains are also higher than 0.70, and that these two questionnaires have great validity in content、criterion correlation and discretion. Whereas, the result of factor analysis indicates that there are some differences between theoretical construct and practical construct. Within the eight health subscales of SF-36, only the mental health subscale has relation with the psychological domain of WHOQOL-BREF; the rest seven healthy subscales of SF-36 have related to the physiological domain of WHOQOL-BREF. Moreover, there is a higher correlation between the physiological and environmental domains of WHOQOL-BREF and PCS of SF-36; another higher correlation has been found between the psychological and social relationship domains of WHOQOL-BREF and MCS of SF-36.
However, the results of this study are not only to explore the quality of life of community-dwelling elderly people and examine the differences between SF-36 Taiwan Version and WHOQOL-BREF Taiwan Version, but also provide the useful suggestions and references to the further research.
