摘 要
本研究旨在探討特殊班與普通班教師的工作壓力感受和差異情形，面對工作壓力時的調適方式，同時探討特殊班及普通班教師不同的背景變項(教育背景、學校行政支持程度、任教理由、教育對象)與工作壓力之間的關係，以及期望學校單位所能提供的調適策略，並根據研究結果提出建議事項，俾供參考。
本研究係採用問卷調查法，樣本取自中部地區(台中縣、台中市、彰化縣、南投縣)國小特殊教師328名，普通班教師363名，共計691名。使用的研究工具為「國民小學教師工作壓力及調適調查問卷」，所得有效資料519份以描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行資料分析。
本研究得到的結果是：
1.就壓力來源而言：特殊班教師感受到最大的壓力情境是「學生的個別差異太大」，普通班教師則是「許多額外的工作(例如：合作社、社教活動及比賽…等)，妨礙教學工作」。
2.就調適途逕而言：特殊班及普通班教師最常使用和使用效果最佳的調適策略均是「事前擬好計畫，以免挫折」之方式。
3.就兩類別教師工作壓力的差異性而言：普通班教師在工作壓力的五個層面「管教學生」、「工作條件」、「時間運用」、「社會支持」和「角色壓力」上，除「管教學生」外，整體工作壓力及其他層面之壓力均高於特殊班教師。
4.就背景變項在工作壓力的差異性而言：
(1)特殊班教師部分：不同任教理由之特殊班教師對工作壓力的感受程度沒有顯著差異；而教育背景、學校行政支持程度和教育對象的不同，對特殊班教師之工作壓力上則有顯著差異。
(2)普通班教師部分：不同教育背景及不同任教理由之普通班教師對工作壓力的感受程度沒有顯著差異；然學校行政支持程度的不同，在工作壓力上則有顯著差異。
5.就兩類別教師調適方式的差異而言：在「直接的行動」和「緩和的方式」調適途徑上，普通班教師比特殊班教師較常使用「直接的行動」。
6.就期望學校提供調適方式而言：特殊班教師期望需求的前二名均和電腦有關：即「我希望在學校有自己的電腦來處理或儲存我的工作資料」和「我的教學檔案經由電腦的協助，將可以更有效率」。而普通班期望之前二名依序是：「學校減少辦理一些不必要的活動，我的工作壓力會減輕一些」、「我希望在學校有自己的電腦來處理或儲存我的工作資料」。

A Study of Job Stress and Adjustmental Strategies for Teachers
of Special Classes and Ordinary Classes
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the job stress awareness, the differences, and the accommodations for teachers of both special and ordinary classes; and also the relationships between the variations on background (educational background, support provided by school administration, reasons to teach, teaching objects) and job stress. At the end come the expected accommodational strategies, provided by school, and suggestions, made out by the study result, for the purpose of references.
Survey research was conducted in this study. The subjects included 328 teachers of special education and 363 ordinary teachers in the elementary schools in the mid-Taiwan area (Taichung County, Taichung City, Chunghua County, and Nantou County). Data was obtained by questionnaire of job stress and accommodations for elementary school teachers, in which 519 available to be analyzed by descriptive statistics, T-test, and One-way ANOVA.
The results are as follows:
1. For stress source:
Teachers of special classes stress most from the great differences in individual students, and those of ordinary classes from too much extra work ( e.g. cooperative society for teachers, students, and faculty, social and educational activities and competitions) barring teaching.
2. For accommodational method:
The most efficient ways that special and ordinary teachers often adapt is to plan advanced, from frustration.
3. For the job stress differences between two kinds of teachers:
There are 5 aspects of job stress for teachers of ordinary classes: regulating students, utilization of time, social support, and character stress. These teachers are under much more stress, than teachers of special classes, on total job stress and these five aspects, except regulating students.
4. For background variations on job stress differences:
(1) On teachers of special classes: there’s no obvious difference on reactions to job stress for teachers who teach for diverse reasons; but differences exist in educational background, administrative support from schools and different teaching objects.
(2) On teachers of ordinary classes: there’s no obvious difference for teachers of different educational background and teaching reasons; but differences exist for administrative support from schools.
5. For differences of adjustment of both kinds of teachers:
Teachers of ordinary classes more frequently use “direct actions”, contrasting with “mild methods”, than those of special classes.
6. For expecting school-provided adjustmental methods:
The first two expectations for teachers of special classes are related to computers: “I hope that I can have a computer at school to manage and to save my working data”, and “My teaching portfolio will be more efficiently made by computers.” And those for teachers of ordinary classes are: “ The less unnecessary activities that the school hosts, the less stressed I will feel about work,” and “I hope to have a computer at school to manage or save my working data.”
