微透鏡應用在光纖通訊上越來越廣泛，微透鏡發展出許多製造方法，其中大部分昂貴且費時。本研究中的製造方法不僅省時而且可以製作出接近球狀的微透鏡。為了瞭解微透鏡成形的參數作用，探討直徑、聚合物和光阻的厚度、回溫時間與溫度等條件對於微透鏡幾何形狀的影響。實驗結果顯示，若以形成球狀而言，深寬比大約5比3、聚合物厚度大且回溫溫度僅需在特定溫度以上，便能形成微球透鏡。曲率半徑之檢測可經由簡單的影像處理來得到。
