本論文探討介質共振天線的饋入及輻射特性,在此我們使用套裝軟體HFSS來模擬不同幾何形狀、介電係數、饋入結構的輸入組抗及輻射場型。在此主要討論三種饋入方式:同軸線饋入單極、同軸線饋入微帶線、共面波導饋入微帶線。第三種饋入結構不僅保有原本介質共振天線的優點,例如較小的體積、低成本、沒有導體的損失,而且更加容易製造及易於與微波積體電路整合。

The excitation and radiation properties of cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas have been investigated. The input impedance and radiation pattern with various geometrical aspect ratios, dielectric constants and feeding structures are simulated.
Three feeding structures are studied: coaxial-fed probe, coaxial-fed conformal microstrip and CPW-fed conformal microstrip. The last feeding structure can be easily implemented and integrated with MMIC while retaining the advantages of DR antennas such as low cost, small size and free of conductor loss.
