工作流程系統之應用使得公司內部組織有良好的運作效率，讓資訊與知識能更有效的分享。目前已有許多工作流程系統的應用以及學術論文的研究，他們針對的都是提供親切的圖形化介面或簡單的流程設計，但其對台灣這種多變的企業流程並不能立即應付與修改，往往只能再重新規劃一個新的工作流程，此為一主要弊病。
因此，本研究特別針對企業工作流程系統，提出使用XML與Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server這兩套工具，來解決目前工作流程所面臨的困境。利用XML可重複修改的特性來解決不確定性流程的問題，並使用Exchange 2000 Server協同合作伺服器來處理文件的通知、儲存與控管。

Applying workflow makes good operating efficiency for organization. It also let information and knowledge share efficiently for employees. At present, there are many workflow systems and academic researches, but they are focusing on friendly graphic interface or simple design of flow. However, they can’t handle and modify immediately especially for changeful business process in Taiwan, and they always redesign a new workflow. Hence, this is a critical defect.
Thus, this thesis concentrates on workflow system of business, using XML and Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server to solve problems of workflow faced now. To make use of XML which can modify repeatably solve uncertain problems of process and using Exchange 2000 Server labeled collaboration server to deal with document of notice, storage, control and management.
