薰衣草精油(lavender)一般得自唇形科(Labiatae)薰衣草屬(Lavandula)植物,目前廣泛應用於芳香療法上。
本研究將五種台灣栽培之薰衣草屬植物甜薰衣草(Lavandula heterophylla)、羽葉薰衣草(Lavandula angustifolia)、齒葉薰衣草(Lavandula dentate)、狹葉薰衣草(Lavandula pinnata)和真薰衣草(Lavandula vera)分別利用水蒸氣蒸餾法、正己烷萃取、冷浸法和熱迴流法得到香味物質,並且經由氣相層析質譜儀(GC-MS)進行成分之分析。
台灣栽培的薰衣草或因地理環境關係,主成分coumarin、7-methoxycoumarin,、及eucalyptol為文獻上薰衣草植物中未曾報導的成分。

Lavender is an essential oil obtained form the plants of Lavandula genus. It is widely used in the aromatherapy. Five speies of Lavandula plant, namely, Lavandula vera、Lavandula dentate、Lavandula heterophylla、Lavandula pinnata and Lavandula angustifolia were cultivated in taiwan.
In this study, the essential oils of above plant were obtained by the methods of steam distillation and solvent extration, respectively. All of the essential oil were analyzed by using the gas chromatograph coupled with mass spectromter.
The major components such as coumarin, 7-methoxycoumarin and eucalyptol were obtained for the first time from the genus Lavandula.
