企業需不斷推出新產品到市場,才能從競爭激烈的市場中獲得利潤,因此,產品研發是企業經營的重要競爭力來源。所有的產品資料和相關資訊,如製造、品質管制及銷售資料,都必須在資訊系統中加以儲存及更新,並給予規劃及整合,保持產品資料一致性與正確性。並適時的提供資訊的研發人員,避免知識流失及促進知識擴充成長,以改善研發效率及縮短產品的開發週期。
以工具機產業來說,因為人員流動的因素,許多專業知識及經驗很容易隨員工的離職而喪失,而若能有效地管理及運用企業累積的經驗及知識,將使企業以較『有效率』且『精確』的方法面對各種人事及環境的變遷,並提昇企業競爭力。本研究欲保留工具機業研發完整知識,並輔以資訊科技,加速產品開發速度,目的如下:
1.透過文獻及訪談,規劃產品研發的標準流程。
2.歸納整理研發運作流程中,其所運用、產生的相關知識,以求保留住完整研發部門的知識。
3.探討研發知識之應用模式,針對不同的知識,建議導入適當的知識管理工具與模式,作為業界之參考。
Product research and development process is the procedure of developing models of products for company competition. Information from these product models then forms the basis for design analysis, for planning and organization of manufacturing activity, and for the control of machines which manufacturing the products. All product data and their correlated information, such as manufacturing, quality control, and marketing data, must be stored and updated in the information system for further planning and integration so as to maintain the consistency and correctness of the product data. Then sharing the data to the R&D staffs who need these knowledge, to improve the efficiency and shorten the product development cycle.
In recent years, the machine tool industry in Taiwan has played an important role in worldwide industries due to its excellent performance. However, domestic machine tool companies have some obstacles to enhance their competitive forces. Personnel loss is one of them. For the factor of personnel loss, some domain knowledge and experiences will lose along with personnel turnover easily. If we can well organize and manage these knowledge and experience which companies accumulate, will make the companies have more efficient and specifically ways to come up against all changes of personnel matters and environment, then make the companies more competitive. This research tries to reserve all the R&D knowledge, and assist with information technology, to speed up the rate of product research development.
The goal of this research can be summarized as follows:
1. planned the R&D department’s standard operation process through literature review and industry field interviews;
2. derived the information requirements for the R&D department’s operation to make completely knowledge preserved;
3. conferred application model of R&D knowledge, suggested using suitable knowledge management tools and model, be the consultation for the machine tool industry.
