While the globalization wave engulfs the world, managing the difference between nations become an important point of management. To understand domestic culture is a start to manage domestic cultural issue. The main purpose of this thesis is to use the Taiwanese histories and Hofstede’s cultural indexes to explain Taiwanese cultures. The study finds several historical features out and extract three tendencies from it, they tendencies are grouping, dependent property, and external locus of control. We explain meanings of the three tendencies and demonstrate the influence to management field. Besides, we make some appropriate suggestions for managers in these situations.
