The travel demands generated in cities can be regarded as the result of people trying to hold activities in different places under the constraints of time and space. If the analysis process didn’t contain the previous idea, the influences to individuals’ decisions and travel behavior in time-space constraints could not be accounted for and could not support policy analysis effectively when activity patterns had changed. This study sampled workers in metropolitan Tainan and recorded a weekday and a weekend travel-activity schedule by using an “activity diary survey method”. For the weekday aspect, this study has constructed a two stage choice model with “activity patterns choices” and “locations choices. The result of the location choice model shows it is the same between “before work” and “after work” that ”travel time” and “duration” all had significant effect on workers. “Available time” and “total travel time” also has significant effect on workers in travel-activity pattern choice. After work, “available time” also has significant effect on workers when choosing travel-activity pattern.
