本研究旨在發展國小六年級學童適用之閱讀理解測驗,藉此評量其高層次的字義理解、文本理解、推論理解、摘要、布題等閱讀理解能力。常模樣本來自全國335位國小六年級學童,測驗的內部一致性信度Chronbach α值為.74,重測信度為.95,布題能力的評分者信度為.87 ~ .98。另外在效標關聯同時效度方面,本測驗與「中文閱讀理解測驗」之相關達.71。
主要研究結果如下:
一、本測驗為評量學童閱讀理解能力之適切工具。
二、本測驗具有良好的信效度。
三、本測驗建立百分等級和T分數常模。
四、五項閱讀理解次能力中,學童的推論理解能力表現最好,摘要能
力最弱。
五、本測驗發現:學童各項閱讀理解次能力性別間無顯著差異。
六、本測驗發現:學童閱讀理解能力城鄉間有顯著差異,布題能力是
鄉鎮學童落後最多的一項閱讀理解次能力。
The purpose of this study is to develop a Chinese reading comprehension test for six grade children. The test assessed students' ability of literal comprehension, content comprehension, inferential comprehension, summarization and self-questioning. A national norm was established based on 335 students for the 6th grade. The internal consistency reliability indicated by Chronbach α is .74. The test-retest reliability coefficient reached to .95. The scorer reliability of self-questioning ability is .87 to .98. In addition, children’s scores on the Test of Reading Comprehension were correlated with their scores on the Test of the Chinese Reading Comprehension for the 6th grade. The correlation coefficient is .71. The main results of this research were as follows:
1.The Test of Reading Comprehension for the 6th grade was an adequate tool to assess students' reading comprehension ability.
2.The Test of Reading Comprehension for the 6th grade had acceptable reliability and validity.
3.This test established a percentile rank and norm tables.
4.Among five reading sub-ability, students' inferential comprehension ability is the best and summarization ability is the worst.
5.This test approved that students' reading comprehension ability had no differences between genders.
6.This test approved that city students' reading comprehension ability was better than county students'.
