流暢經驗與飛鏢投擲運動表現及腦波關係之研究

摘要
本研究主要的目的在探討流暢經驗與飛鏢投擲成績及腦波神經生理間的關係,我們以18位年齡在20~27歲的男性大學生為實驗參與者,他們必須在飛鏢投擲自我訓練至少三個月後進行正式測驗。飛鏢標靶距離實驗參與者的水平距離為2.37公尺,靶心與地面間的垂直距離為1.74公尺,正式測驗後我們將流暢經驗狀態量表平均得分最高的九位實驗參與者非配置高流暢經驗組,剩下的九位實驗參與者分配至低流暢經驗組,然後以獨立樣本t考驗及混合設計三因子(組別*時間視窗*區域)變異數分析比較高、低流暢經驗組間飛鏢投擲成績與投擲穩定度及額葉區、顳葉區等各區域的α波平均功率顯著性。結果發現高、低流暢經驗組在飛鏢投擲成績上達到顯著差異,飛鏢投擲穩定性、左右額葉、左右顳葉側化及大腦各區域之效率性與穩定性比較則未達顯著差異。本研究之結論為流暢經驗之高低與飛鏢投擲成績的好壞有關連,流暢經驗狀態量表分數越高,飛鏢投擲的表現會越好。高、低流暢經驗組沒有在大腦左右額葉及左右顳葉側化中看出差異,可能與實驗操弄之情緒性質較為一致及實驗參與者的飛鏢投擲技術水準有關。而高、低流暢經驗組沒有在腦波活動效率性及穩定性看出差異可能是因為兩組實驗參與者之技能差異及心情變化落差不大使然。

Examining the relationship among flow, dart throw, and EEG activity

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among flow、dart throw, and EEG activity. Eighteen male college students (aged between 20~27 year old) that were trained at dart throw for a minimum of three months were recruited. Participants were required to perform 60 dart throws that were grouped into six blocks, ten darts each, on a standardized dart throw task. A Chinese version of Jackson and Marsh’s Flow State Scale (FSS) was administered to measure participant’s flow state after each block of dart throw. A median split was used to categorize participants into either high or low flow group. EEG was recorded at 28 scalp sites and EOG were also monitored. In addition, bipolar EMG was measured at a site 1/3 between wrist and shoulder to mark the onset of the throwing movement. The recorded EEG was segmented into four, 0.5 second each, epochs of the last 2 seconds prior to the initiation of movement. Cleaned EEG epochs were subjected to FFT. An independent t test confirmed that the flow scores were significantly different between these two groups (mean=107.95, SD=5.41 vs. mean=88.30, SD=6.30). Another independent t test also showed that participants in the high flow group performed slightly better (a score of 8.35 vs. 8.02) than that of low flow group. Although two separate independent t tests on the α ratio for the frontal and temporal asymmetry measures failed to find difference between these two groups, a 2×4×5 (group×time×area) ANOVA with the last two were treated as repeated measures on EEG α power resulted in a significant area main effect. Post hoc pairwise comparison showed that α power at anterior area was larger than that of posterior area. In conclusion, despite the small difference in performance, there was no difference on EEG asymmetry and temporal dynamics between groups.
