本研究主要目的在探討構成可愛意象結構之動作或行為要素被轉化為產品操作機能,及形成產品可愛意象之可行性。內容共包含以下三大部分:
第一部分首先調查在日常生活經驗中的具體事例,並歸納出可愛意象結構,可愛意象可由「外觀形態圓潤舒適的事物、純真溫和的感受、天真直坦的行為、呆緩無助的表情動作、表情動作逗趣的事物、幼小動物般自然逗趣的行為動作、自然不造做的行為動作、誇張擬人的事物形態」等八大類要素所構成。
第二部分為從調查所得之可愛意象結構,歸納出相關之產品設計要素。具可愛意象的產品,除了具備一般所認知的形態比例特徵外,其他如質感、聲音、色彩、動作等,也是可能的影響因素。
第三部分則依據先前歸納所得的可愛意象影響要因中之動作、行為及其對應之相關設計要素,轉化設計成操作機能之樣本,進行產品可愛意象之測試與驗證。結果發現以可愛的動作行為轉化之產品機能操作亦是影響產品可愛意象的一個要因。根據所得的結果,可將具可愛意象之產品機能操作分為四大類型:(1)施予較大力量操作且同時產生其他部位連動的操作方式、(2)簡易且緩和即可達成功能的操作方式、(3)模擬生物快速的動態轉化運用於產品機能的操作方式、(4)具規律且反覆不停的操作方式。
The primary purpose of this research is to study the constituents of a lovable image of a product, look into the nature of these constituents by searching for people’s cognition and views about lovable images of products they come across in their daily life, and eventually provide reference for product design. The research divide into the following three parts:
Part 1:Investigate people’s cognition and views about lovable images and go further to study the constituents and structure of lovable images. lovable images are formed with eight constituents, namely “mellow, comfortable appearance”, “childish, innocent, gentle behavior”, “naïve, straightforward acts”, “dull, slow, helpless expressions and movements”, “swaying one’s head amusingly”, “moving one’s tiny body vigorously”, “personalized animal acts” and “small body profiles or body profiles displayed in exaggerated proportions”.
Part 2:Work out related design factors in the light of the structure of lovable images we understood, and found that during the process of designing a product with a lovable image, not only should importance be attached to the generally recognized appearance, proportion and characteristics, but consideration should also be given to texture, colors, movements and operation, etc.
Part 3:According to the rest, product function operations can be divided into such four categorizes as the operation mode of exerting big force to operate and bringing other parts to mover, the operation mode that easy and smooth operations can achieve the functions, the operation mode of emulating quick motion transform of the animal and applying it to the product function, and regular and continuously repeated operation mode.
