  本文的目的是在一個階層式SIP的網路環境(Hierarchical SIP Networks Environment)上建立一個行動網際網路電話系統(MVoIP),階層式SIP環境以Internet為骨幹,結合了區域無線網路、GSM、PSTN,MVoIP則提供在階層式SIP環境上的使用者可以相互撥打電話,並具有漫遊功能。在本論文中為了提供使用者在漫遊時擁有更佳的通話品質,提出了Media-Relay的方法,藉此減低漫遊時所產生的遞移延遲 (handoff delay)。本論文的貢獻是在一個階層式SIP網路環境上建立新的網際網路電話系統,並賦予漫遊的功能。
  This main purpose of this paper is to establish a Mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (MVoIP) system under the environment of a hierarchical SIP networks environment. The hierarchical SIP networks environment integrate 4 kinds of networks: Internet, WLAN, GSM, and PSTN, Internet is used as the backbone. MVoIP provide the users to make a phone call each other and have the ability of roaming around the integrated network. In order to reduce the delay of handoff, a method of Media-Relay is used in the system. The major contribution of this paper is to build up a new VoIP system with roaming ability in the hierarchical SIP networks environment.
