  本論文的研究重點著重於在階層式 SIP 網路環境中,使用者的位置資訊之取得以及管理。研究中將提出一個階層式的架構來管理 SIP 環境中的使用者位置資訊,並根據使用者的位置,由當時使用者所處的網路環境提供使用者一些可使用的服務。
在這樣的階層式 SIP 網路環境下,當使用者在同一個網域下移動的時候,可以減少使用者移動後重新對系統做註冊時所需要花費的時間, 提高系統處理區域漫遊的效能。
  本系統根據 SIP 標準及過去實驗室的研究成果,利用三層架構的模式來建立階層式SIP網路環境 :
(1)SIP Server用Ethernet網路與Internet相連,共執行三種 SIP Components,設計目的為處理使用者註冊訊息、透過查詢 Location Server來幫助使用者找到通訊對象。
(2)Proxy Server 主要是做為 UA 的 Outbound Server,為 UA 處理 SIP 訊息的第一道關卡,可說是 UA 使用本系統的一個重要的媒介。
(3)User Agent,是使用者執行SIP應用程式的平台,讓使用者可以透過 Proxy Server連上系統,使用系統提供的各項通訊服務,簡稱為 UA 。
  My research’s focuses on the acquisition of the information of the user’s location and the managements in a Hierarchical SIP Networks Environment . In the research, we suggested a Hierarchical SIP Networks Environment to manage the location information of a user’s location in SIP environment. Depend on a user’s current location , the user can use some available services provided by the user’s visited network environment.
  In this Hierarchical SIP Networks Environment , when a user move in the same network domain , system can reduce the processing time of re-registering . This artribute gains a higher performance that system process a local Mobility .
  Our system refers to the SIP’s standard and the research results of our laboratory in recent years ,and uses a three layer model to build a Hierarchical SIP Networks Environment :
(1)The SIP Server uses Ethernet to connect to Internet , and include three SIP Components. It to processes the UA’s SIP messages、and help UAs to find their correspondent UAs by querying the Location Server.
(2)The Proxy Server,is a Outbound Proxy for UAs, and is also a Outbound Server of UAs .In other words , Proxy Server is an important medium between UAs and the services provided by UA’s visited network environment.
(3)The User Agent is a platform that a user can execute SIP applications. An user can use an User Agent to pass through the Proxy Server to use the services provided by the UA’s visited network environment.
