  面對現在全球化競爭如此劇烈的市場,以及顧客對產品需求多變的情形下,一個企業如何在充滿激烈競爭和更多不確定需求的環境之中生存下來,生產符合顧客需求的產品是一個重要課題。為了能夠對市場的快速變化做出最適當的回應,企業漸漸重視從顧客身上所能獲得的資訊,以及產品市場的資料收集,包括競爭對手及企業本身於市場上的表現等等,透過對這些資料統整、分析,將所得到的資訊做為產品開發設計之參考,因此如果有一個有效的模式能夠把具模糊性質的顧客需求資料轉換成工程設計需求較明確的參考資料,對於整個研發團隊在產品開發的過程一定有相當大的助益。
  本研究主要以品質機能展開(Quality Function Deployment, QFD)當中第一階段產品規劃作考量,藉由設計團隊所找出顧客需求與工程設計需求之間關係,即品質屋(House of Quality, HOQ)矩陣,利用矩陣當中目的(what)與方法(how)的關係,以模糊理論來量化顧客品質需求與工程設計需求之間存在的關係,本研究著重於求得顧客品質需求與工程設計需求兩者之關係,建立起模糊數學模式,以作為求得最佳的工程設計需求組合的依據,並考慮目標達成之先後順序,運用模糊目標規劃求得符合限制之下,最適的工程設計需求組合。
