技術分殖(又名衍生公司)是一種原生組織進行技術移轉以創造工作機會和獲取新財源的機制。技術分殖的過程最重要的意涵不只是技術在移轉上和商業化上的創新,同時也是一種創業的過程。本文旨在探索中科院技術分殖的背後意涵和其相關過程。
本論文以Timmons Model做為研究基礎,該Model以機會、資源和團隊三個驅動力因素作為分析創業過程之主要構面。為了探討研究機構技術分殖與這些因素之間的關聯性,本研究以整理文獻所得到的觀念性架構為基礎,人員訪談與次級資料並進的方式進行個案研究,本研究發現技術能否包裝成可交易的型態,是技術分殖的最先決條件,而組織的規章制度和上級主管對推動技術分殖的支持,是技術分殖很重要的關鍵成功因素,最後並根據研究發現提出相關研究命題。
Spin-offs are a means of technology transfer from a parent organization that represent a mechanism for creating jobs and new wealth. The spin-off process is not only transferring and commercializing technological innovations, but also an entrepreneurial process. In this paper, we discuss strategic implications and process of spin-off from Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (C.S.I.S.T.).
The research bases on Timmons Model developed by Timmons for analyzing an entrepreneurial process of a company and consists of three driving forces: opportunity, resource, and team. For exploring the influences of these factors, this research bases of integrate conceptual framework from literature review. We complete the cases study with interview, secondary data, and built some propositions at the same time. The research discovers technological is trade type package is most important for spin-off condition.
