本論文研究目的旨在探討西班牙天主教兒童協會得獎圖畫書的圖文合作關係，針對一九九七到二○○二年的得獎作品之文本內容與插畫作共同的研究，從文學與視覺即文字與插畫兩方面加以共同分析。
首先，筆者回顧了西班牙天主教兒童協會文學獎(el Premio CCEI)的創立歷程，以及歐美與西班牙圖畫書的發展與概況。然後針對圖畫書的圖文合作相關論述加以討論，整理插畫與文字相關分析理論，根據諾德曼(Nodelman)所提出的理論，探討插畫的技法與檢視方法。歸納林敏宜與盧瑟爾(Russell)所提出的文學分析要素理論，包括情節、衝突、角色、背景、主題、觀點及風格等。再根據歸納出的檢視方法，討論得獎作品的圖文合作成果。
本論文將研究焦點鎖定在探討《紙船》(El barquichuelo de papel,1997)、《老鼠與大象》(Ratona y Elefante, 1999)、《書島哥倫貝塔》(Columbeta, la isla libro, 2000)、《喔！這獅子的聲音好小》(¡Oh que voz tiene el león!, 2001)，以及《天斗與項鍊》(Tento y la cadena, 2002)等五本得獎作品的圖文合作關係。分別為討論得獎圖畫書的故事性、主題與寓意，以及分析得獎圖畫書在圖文合作搭配下，圖畫和文字相互激盪所產生的火花。

Picture books are combined with two realms of literature and paintings, both of which have the function of narration and information conveyance. The main research purpose of this thesis is to deal with the collaborative relation of illustrations and words in the SCCA(Spanish Catholicism Children Association) awarded pictures books. I examine the texts and illustrations of awarded works (from 1997 to 2002) from two dimensions—literature and vision.
First, I marshaled the history of SCCA literature prize and reviewed the development and current situation of picture books in European and Spanish. Then, I had a literature review of the collaboration of illustration and words and marshaled its analysis theory. Based on the theory proposed by Perry Nodelman, I researched the skill of illustration and its method of survey from two dimensions—the cover and the text of the book. I induced the theory of literature factor analysis from Lin Mean-yee and Russell. Its factor includes the plot, conflict, role, background, theme, viewpoints, style, and so on. Then, I also induced a method of survey to study the achievements of collaboration of illustration and words in awarded books.
The research focus on five awarded works. They are Paper boat(El barquichuelo de papel,1997), The Mouse and Elephant (Ratona y Elefante, 1999) Book Island—Columbeta(Columbeta, la isla libro, 2000), Oh! The Lion’s Voice is so Small(¡Oh que voz tiene el león!, 2001), and Tendo and Necklace(Tento y la cadena, 2002). I dealt with the whole stories and their texts belong to animal imagination. Illustrators make use of illustrations to expand the story while authors make use of narration to describe the theme and moral of awarded works. The contents of the story almost obtain their materials from the living experiences of readers, which corresponds to the subject of helping the development of children and has a close connection of the goal of education. Finally, based on the collaboration of illustration and words, I will study the results of their mutual combination.
