摘 要
本研究結合企業國際化進入模式的相關研究與經營績效觀點,試圖建立一整合性的架構,深入探討環境認知、內部資源、外部關係等因素,對於企業海外市場進入模式選擇,以及對於經營績效的影響。
本研究根據資源基礎理論與折衷理論進行假設推論,然後配合實證的方式來驗證本研究所推論之假設。本研究依據環境認知、內部資源、外部環境對進入模式之影響做出假設1-3;內部資源、進入模式、外部關係對經營績效之影響做出假設4-6。
本研究的母體是以中台灣地區企業為主要調查對象,涵蓋了一般製造業及高科技產業,採取分層隨機抽樣,共計發放500份問卷,有效回收問卷為130份,有效回收率為26%。
本研究結果發現:
一、 大陸子公司資金供應能力、行銷能力、環境變動性強者,廠商越傾向採用高涉入程度的進入模式。
二、 大陸子公司製造能力、政府部門間關係及環境複雜性越強時,廠商越傾向採用低涉入程度的進入模式。
三、 台灣母公司行銷能力與財務績效有負向關係。
四、 台灣母公司技術資源、組織能力有正向關係。
五、 大陸子公司採高涉入程度與營運績效有正向關係。
六、 台灣母公司製造能力越強與總績效有正向關係。
七、 台灣母公司大陸進入模式採高涉入程度與總績效有正向關係。

ABSTRACT
This study attempts to fill the gap in literature by providing an integrative framework through extensive literature review to identify the interrelationships between environment recognition, internal resources, and external Guanxi, and their possible influences towards entry modes selection and overall performance of the Taiwanese firms operating in Mainland China.
The research develops six key hypotheses based on eclectic theory and resource-based theory, and examine the hypotheses by empirical methods statistically.
The sample population is the firms based in Middle Taiwan. A random stratified sampling method was used. Some 500 questionnaires were distributed by mail. 130 valid questionnaires received represent a fair response rate of 26%.
The major findings of the research includes the followings:
1. Companies, with stronger capability in capital supply, marketing, and external connecting, are more likely to adopt higher-controlled entry mode.
2. Companies, with stronger capability in manufacturing, guanxi networking with governmental bodies, are more likely to adopt lower-controlled entry mode, so do those with higher recognition in environment complexity.
3. Stronger marketing capability tend to have negative affect on the financial performance.
4. Financial performance is positively related to technological resource, organizational capability in host company.
5. Subsidiaries under higher control tend to have positive effect on overall and operating performance.
6. Overall performance is associated with manufacture capability.
