隨著3G與無線網路的蓬勃發展,行動計算技術也日趨成熟,普及式計算(Pervasive Computing)技術已成為下一世紀的科技發展主流,其中又以穿戴式電腦的相關研究最受矚目,然而,透過Remote Sensing觀念的引入,穿戴式電腦可透過通訊與行動運算的技術,來加強團隊間即時的異地互動溝通。
本論文將探討Remote Sensing的觀念,並規劃一套概念性的穿戴式系統:數位保全人員系統,透過對此套系統的闡述,來延伸Remote Sensing的觀念,與突顯穿戴式電腦如何改善人機互動與資訊流通的方式,為了實現穿戴式電腦與Remote Sensing的延伸與結合,本論文提出WMCP( Wearable Multimedia Communication Platform )的系統架構,來展現穿戴式電腦特點,並闡述WMCP軟硬體系統組成與運作原理,同時藉由嵌入式Linux的技術,同時兼具WMCP系統的效能與弁遄A另外,透過導入訊息佇列的方法,提供Context Awareness Application的設計者,一個可以專注於設計context aware程式的弁遄A而不需花費心思在如何進行通訊與取得環境資訊(environment sensor & position ),並結合HLA(IEEE 1516)的部份特性,與階層式模組化的軟體架構,使得此系統具備良好的彈性與擴充性,以具體實現穿戴式電腦的弁遄C
With the flourishing development of third generation wireless system and wireless area network, the technology of mobile computing is ripe day by day. Pervasive Computing has already become the development mainstream of the next century, the research of wearable computer has attracted attention. In this paper, we add the concept of Remote Sensing for designing the architecture of wearable computer. The concept of Remote Sensing means using sensor to improve the communication between users of wearable computer. We also scheme out a hypothetical wearable computer application for patrolling with security service personnel to prove that it can do batter for designing the function of Remote Sensing on a wearable computer. In order to realize a wearable computer with the function of Remote Sensing, we design an hardware/software architecture of wearable computer - WMCP (Wearable Multimedia Communication Platform). Then we will show how we design and realize WMCP. We also used the technology of embedded linux to increase the performance of WMCP, and designed the middleware of WMCP that it can obviate obstacles to design an context awareness application by using the technology of message queue. The architecture of WMCP is scalable, flexible and modular for wearable computing system. Our experiment result show that the property of WMCP and prove that WMCP is efficient for using wearable computer to interaction with each other.
