背景:踝關節內翻性扭傷是常見的運動傷害,貼紮常被使用來支撐受傷踝關節。近年來貼紮使用的貼布有不同材質,如彈性之治療性貼布,非彈性之白色貼布的運用,但在與肌肉活性上相關比較的研究有限。本篇研究的目的在於比較非彈性貼布及彈性貼布在踝關節肌肉表現上的差異。方法:以方便取樣方式招募45位年輕自願者,條件為測試前6個月沒有踝關節扭傷經歷,以隨機的方式分為彈性貼紮組、非彈性貼紮組與控制組等三組。使用等速肌力測試儀器(CYBEX NORMTM)量測踝關節內外翻與蹠背屈兩動作方向的最大力矩比例值、總作功量比例值與平均功率比例值,同步以BIOPAC MP150系統收集肌肉收縮活動反應時間。每位受試者都參與兩動作方向,分別為蹠背屈、內外翻方向。在每個動作方向中,受試者進行三種情境測試:貼紮前、貼紮及移除貼布後進行測試。資料分析:本研究所得到的數據資料輸入SPSS for Windows 11.0版統計軟體處理。以重複量數變異數分析,比較三組別在兩種不同角速度等速收縮下,兩個動作方向的肌力參數比例值與肌肉動作反應時間值的差異,分別進行組間及組內的分析比較。結果:在兩動作方向下,兩貼紮組在兩角速度下於最大力矩值、總作功比值及平均功率比值間並無顯著差異。另外,採用三情境間相互的差異值進行分析,顯示在蹠背屈及內外翻動作方向下,各肌力參數比例值之兩差異值間亦未達統計顯著差異。而在使用彈性貼布貼紮後,脛骨前肌(p=0.006)及腓骨長肌(p=0.032)的反應時間顯著縮短,使用非彈性貼布貼紮後對反應時間則無顯著影響。結論:健康受試者以兩種不同材質的貼布進行貼紮後,無論在快速或慢速下,對於各項肌力參數比例值的表現都沒有造成顯著的促進,但以彈性貼布貼紮脛骨前肌及腓骨長肌後,能夠顯著縮短該貼紮肌肉群的反應時間,而且也能夠促進對側蹠屈肌群進行蹠屈動作時肌力的表現。臨床意義:彈性貼布貼紮在脛骨前肌及腓骨長肌時,能夠縮短脛骨前肌及腓骨長肌的反應時間,這對需要執行背屈或外翻等敏捷性的動作有一定的幫助。
Background: Athletic taping has been one of the most popular methods to support the weakened joint. Although there have been the positive effectiveness of ankle taping on the range of ankle motion, there are few reports about the effect of different taping materials on the muscle performance such as muscle activity. The purpose of this study was to study the effects of non-elastic taping and elastic taping in muscle performance on muscle activity at the ankle joint. Method: Forty-five young age volunteers with no history of ankle sprain for at least six months before testing were recruited to this study and randomize into a Non-elastic taping group, an Elastic taping group and a Control group. We used CYBEX NORMTM system to determine isokinetic peak torque ratio, total work ratio and average power ratio for reciprocal concentric and concentric dorsiflexion-plantarflexion and eversion-inversion movements of the ankle at angular velocity of 60°/sec and 120°/sec. BIOPAC MP150 system was used to collect reaction time of muscle activation. Analysis: SPSS for Windows (version 11.0) was used for statistical analysis. The data were examined with two-way repeated measure ANOVA to determine significant difference within and among the three groups. Results: No significant differences in peak torque ratio, total work ratio and average power ratio in neither DF/PF nor EV/INV motion of both taping groups at slow and fast angular speed. Significant reduction was found in the muscle reaction time after elastic taping in tibialis anterior and peroneus longus in healthy individuals. Conclusion: In this study, we find that tape applied at ankle joint muscle in healthy individuals do not improve the strength ratio, including peak torque ratio, total work ratio and average power ratio. But elastic taping can improve strength performance of antagonist muscle (plantarflexor) of taping muscle. Elastic taping in healthy individuals can shorten the reaction time of tibialis anterior and peroneal longus. This effect doesn’t find after non-elastic taping. Clinical relevance: Findings suggest that elastic tape has effects on muscle activity reaction time of tibialis anterior and peroneal longus. May improve tibialis anterior performance in DF motion and peroneal longus in EV motion.
