隨著產業經營環境的變遷,企業必須同時面對同業間的競爭、對高品質產品的需要、快速回應顧客的需求及對交期縮短的時間壓力;企業利用資訊科技達成電子化,可有效因應經營環境變遷的各項需求。製造資訊系統為製造業電子化架構之驅動系統,若能建構完善之製造系統資料庫與管理系統,將可提升製造資訊系統之效能,進而提升企業競爭力。
由於經營環境的不斷的變化,製造資訊系統之新應用需求也不定時的出現,傳統之資料庫系統架構,在面對新應用需求而必需擴充暨整合系統時,僅能針對新應用需求之功能,開發相對應之資料表格滿足其需求,但此種傳統資料庫開發方式,將會因為資料的不夠精簡,而影響資料庫系統的執行時間,甚而造成資料庫系統癱瘓。因此,本研究針對此問題提出新資訊應用需求擴充的方法,透過IDEF0工具來分解新資訊應用需求之資料元件,並與資料庫資料比對與彙總後,獲得資料庫新增與修改之最終依據資料,以減少資料庫新增開發程式之工作,並同時降低資料庫之複雜度,使資料庫維護更為容易;再利用個案方式來實證本研究之可行性。
本研究結果顯示,利用新思維所創建之處理流程,以IDEF0工具分解後,將可獲得新資訊應用需求詳細之資料元件,並在經過與資料庫的比對後,大幅降低資料庫開發、修改與維護之工作,個案實證結果也顯示本研究之可行性。本研究之提出將可提供眾多製造業在面對製造資訊系統新應用需求時一個良好導引。
Due to the change of industry’s environment, enterprise faces a variety of challenges at the same time, such as: keen competition, superior quality requirements, quick response to customer’s demands and the pressure of shorten cycle time. In order to meet the requested changes rapidly, enterprise is keeping computerized with the latest information technology. The manufacturing information system is a driven system of enterprise''s electronic structure. A well-managed manufacture system, including both database and administrative systems, improves the efficiency of the manufacturing information system. The competitiveness of enterprise will be also built as well.
The traditional database system is unable to match new technology data demand in time for the business environment changing rapidly. For this reason, manager is eager for a more powerful database system. This thesis proposes an IDEF0 based method to handle the new requests of information database extension. Through IDEF0, new requests are decomposed into functional components and then information requirements of those components and data elements of current database are compared and summarized. One benefit of this method is that huge changes are not required again for the database extension. Furthermore, it reduces the complexity of the extended database and makes the database maintenance much easier then before.
Finally, it is illustrated with a case study to study the feasibility of the proposed method. The case study interprets the workability of this method. The study results show that the method, which is based on IDEF0, can obtain no-redundant elements for extended database. Compared with traditional manner, the proposed method not only reduces efforts of database developing but also provides an easy way for modification and maintainance of database. In summary, the proposed method offers the guideline to numerous manufacturing industries while facing the new execution requests of manufacturing information system.
