本論文的主要架構是要發展出一套影像輪廓偵測的方法,主要大致分特徵擷取、輪廓模型、紋理抑制、關鍵點偵測及連接四大部分,在輪廓模型部份分別以不同模型的特性去偵測不同的特徵,有效的取出輪廓,但仍有些紋理不易去除,所以在配合紋理抑制機制有效的抑制紋理,能夠有效的取出輪廓,另一部分當我們在特徵擷取之後再分出另一條路徑來,將所偵測到的特徵再送到第二級的Teager 能量組合,利用第二級的Teager 能量組合的目的主要是為了要求得更精確的關鍵點,在求得關鍵點之後再利用關鍵點的方向特性往可能的方向生長並且矯正此點,最後再從這些關鍵點去描述出整個輪廓。
The purpose of this thesis is to develop an image contour detection scheme. The scheme is composed of edge extraction, contour modules, suppression of texture-like edges, and detection and connection of key points. The initial contour points are selected from the extracted edges by the conjunctive operation of the contour modules and suppression of texture-like edges. The final contours are determined by grouping the initial contour points. The grouping process is guided by the key points that are defined as corners, junctions, and high curvature points. The positions and directions of the key points depict image contours.
