組織為提升經營績效而需持續引進新知識或發展相關知識技能,吸收能力係組織擷取企業外部知識、技術,並用於營運活動之能力。影響吸收能力的因素甚多,包括廠商的先備知識、內部環境因素等,而改變企業運用外部知識、技術的效益。
本研究以台灣製造業廠商為研究對象。研究結果顯示:1.技術合作式知識轉移媒介移入量、學習意圖強度、共同解決問題程度有助於組織對於外部知識的吸納,而市場交易式知識載體移入則不顯著;2.技術合作式知識轉移媒介移入量、共同解決問題程度有助於組織對於外部知識的應用,而市場交易式知識轉移媒介移入量、學習意圖強度則不顯著;3.組織對外部知識的吸納、應用分別有助於組織對知識資產的累積及知識結合的提昇。
所以組織若能加強與其他組織進行技術合作、持續鼓勵及支持員工不斷學習且彼此能相互交流知識,將有效刺激其對外部知識的吸納及應用,而有助於其知識發展之績效,進而提昇組織之競爭能力。
Organizations which want to improve the performance have to keep inputting new related skills and knowledge. Organizational absorptive capacity is viewed as the firms’ ability to acquire external knowledge and skills and then apply to the operational activities. There are many factors which affect organizational absorptive capacity, including the prior knowledge of firms and the factors of internal environment etc., and then affect the performance of firms to use external knowledge and skills.
The study takes the manufacturing industry as an example and pool the questionnaire survey. The results of study are as the following: 1.high-volume of importation of knowledge-transferred media by skills-collaboration, high-density of learning intention and high-degree of collaborative problem solving are helpful to draw external knowledge, but high-volume of importation of knowledge-transferred media by market trading has unobvious effects; 2. high-volume of importation of knowledge-transferred media by skills-collaboration and high-degree of collaborative problem solving are helpful to apply external knowledge, but high-volume of importation of knowledge-transferred media by market trading and high-density of learning intention have unobvious effects; 3.Organizations draw and apply external knowledge are helpful to accumulate knowledge capitals and raise knowledge-combination.
Therefore, if organizations enhance skills-collaboration with others, supporting employee to learning and making them share and discuss their different knowledge, they will raise their absorptive capacity and then have good knowledge development performance to raise their competitiveness.
