  隨著科技的不斷進步,使用者可以在任何時間、地點,使用各種不同的Device存取網路上的資源。當然使用者也會使用行動裝置瀏覽圖書館網頁,但卻因為裝置能力的限制,會造成畫面無法完整呈現,或者,在瀏覽的過程中裝置也有可能會移動,而且移動範圍可能跨越不同網域或網路。
  本論文提出了Mobile Library Information System (MLIS,行動圖書管理系統),它為FULL (Fantastic Ubiquitous Living Land)之中的應用。使用者可以透過MLIS去要求圖書館網頁,MLIS的通訊架構是建構在階層式SIP Environment之上,因為SIP本身對於移動性的支援,因此讓MLIS具備了管理移動性的功能。而當使用者移動之後,所帶來的問題是裝置能力的不一和網路狀態的不確定,而造成圖書網頁頁面不一定適合該裝置和當時的網路狀態,為了提供使用者適合的圖書館網頁,因此我們在MLIS中加入了Content Adaptation Service(CAS),它會將圖書館網頁,根據網路和裝置的種類,做不同的轉換,以最適合的方式呈現。
  With the advance of computer technologies, a user can use various kind of different devices to access internet resources anytime, anywhere. User can also use mobile device(e,g., PDA, Cell Phone) to browse the library web pages. Due to the limited resource in small device, it will casue the web pages can’t be presented entirely. During browsing, user may move between with different subnets, tiers and devices.
  In this thesis, we propose a Mobilie Information Library System(MLIS),it is an application in FULL (Fantasic Ubiquitous Living Land). User can request MLIS to get library web pages. MLIS is based on Hirerchical SIP Environment, so it can manage the user’s mobility. When moving between different networks or devices, it causes the problems that the web pages won’t suitable for the device. So we design a Content Adaptation Service(CAS) to deal with this problem, it will transcoding the library web pages according to network type and device type. CAS can make the pages most suitable for the devices.
