  由於環保意識抬頭,使用者對於故障或損毀的產品除了直接丟棄外,還可透過經由廠商回收的方式,重新進行產品的再利用;因為透過拆解回收的產品,可將部分零件再投入生產製造,降低生產過程中需支付的原物料成本,且重新賦予回收產品新的價值,因此多數企業都會透過買回或回收具有可再利用價值的使用過之產品(used products)。而本研究的重心乃放在具有外部逆物流與內部逆物流的修復系統中,考慮先利用外部回收產品先行製造,而一般生產製造系統則是依照不足需求之部分進行補充的工作,故為一求解在有先行與後行策略下,再加上對不良品進行修復的維修系統,所應進行的最佳生產速率、再製率、棄置率與修復系統中欲進行的修復率等生產策略。本研究並透過三種案例,說明在不同的良率和產能限制之下,生產策略所呈現的流程轉換,並深入討論策略間的轉換所受到的影響為何,以便提供決策者在面對瑕疵品的產生時,可以有效的進行再利用,更可對於外部逆物流的物品達到再利用與環保的意義。但是由於考量的因素仍與現實面有落差,因此在本研究的最後,提供部分未來可深入探討的領域,以期讓整個相關的逆物流研究可以更加完善。
