This study is to analyze the questionnaires from High Tech Corporate which located at Science Based Park, and thus to find out the connection between Knowledge Management Strategy and Knowledge Creation Process of Taiwan's High-tech Industries which located at Science Based Parks, and further to analyze how the four elements ( socialization, externalization, combination, internalization ) of knowledge creation process and the two elements(system oriented & human oriented)of KM strategy influence corporate management performances.
According to the study, it found out those High-tech Industries, which tends to use “system oriented” on Knowledge Management Strategy have the best management performances. This result points out that those High-tech industries at Science Based Park emphasize on computerizing their production process and as a result their knowledge experience are passed on by a well controlled experimentation outcome, rather by one-on-one teaching from seniors to juniors.

This study also found out that the companies that tend to emphasize “combination” and “internalization” on “Knowledge Creation Process” have better performances. On the other words, industries, which have better performances, take more care on the methods to get, to integrate, to handle, and to disseminate knowledge. Moreover, this kind of industries often encourage the sharing of new value, thoughts, and aspirations, and have good and open method for communications within or between departments.

In additions, the sample industries of this study are most at the high capital ranking at Taiwan. Some industries still on research stage or on low ranking of performances are not included in the samples of this study. And there is no clue to approve their connection to this study. It’s regret also that some small companies who have good performances are not included in this study.
