有別於既有文獻大多是使用普通最小平法探討人力資本的議題，本研究採用新近發展的分量迴歸模型來分析工資結構與性別工資歧視，強調不同工資水準下邊際報酬的變化與歧視程度之差異。基本統計量的結果顯示，男性在各分量上的工資水準都比女性高。在性別工資差異的部份，分量迴歸模型的結果指出，性別歧視程度隨著分量的增加而下降。在經濟發展的過程中，我們發現近年來男女工資差距逐漸縮小，但歧視程度不降反升，反映女性員工在職場上仍受到相當的不平等待遇，值得勞工當局關注。

Aside from the well-developed ordinary least square analyze in the existing literature, this paper uses quantile regression model to examine the issues of wage differentials and sex discrimination under Mincerian wage equation, focusing on various marginal returns as well as levels of gender discrimination across wage distribution. General statistics show that male’s wage level on every quantile is higher than female’s. In terms of gender wage differential, we find that the degree of discrimination is decreasing as wage increases. Although the wage gap between male and female is decreasing over time, the magnitude of discrimination is actually increasing. This phenomenon deserves further consideration for future policy suggestion.
