本研究旨在探討民國70至80年間台灣地區紡織成衣服飾業退出率與要素結構間之關係，並根據台灣地區工商普查資料，以四位碼廠商為對象，利用倖存分析方式來進行實證比較。最後實證結果發現，廠商的退出行為確實會受到不同業別的廠商特性或產業特性所影響，這說明了廠商的退出率與結構要素間的確存在一相關性。

The purpose of this study is to examine the exit behavior of firms in Taiwan’s
Textile and Clothing industries. The study is based on the data from “The Census of
Industry and Commerce in Taiwan area” in 1981-1991. We utilize the survival
analysis to investigate the determinants of exit rate. The empirical results reveal that
the exit behavior of firms is affected by varied properties and industrial environment
factors.
