本研究探討適合環保義工特性的教育訓練模式，研究者經由相關學理及專業人員之經驗建立環保義工教育訓練的理論模式，再透過有系統的評估方式來檢測理論模式的適用性，最後以個案實施的結果來進一步修訂模式。
研究結果引用文件分析、訪談紀錄、觀察紀錄、錄音、錄影之質性資料，針對影響模式的各關鍵點進行分析，對環保義工之教育訓練方式提出以下具體建議及參考模式圖：
一、重視教育訓練目標的形塑：形塑願景的過程可提供設計階段可供討論的素材，並將義工的需求及想法帶入計劃中。
二、因應設計教育訓練方案的兩難作出調整：領袖式和合議式之間不同的設計差異均會遭遇不同的問題，必須依整體的條件作出調整。
三、彈性發展教育訓練方案：到真正執行前的發展時期，必須依整體條件來決定以知識或是以活動導向為主，並為義工創造更多機會在自然情境中學習。
四、重視管理控制的回饋：讓評量結果成為有正面效果的管理工具，同時重視執行過程中的即時修正和總結性評鑑以利經驗的傳承。
五、提高對於義工狀況的敏感度：在本模式的架構之下，組織應提高對於義工個人狀況的敏感度，才能讓教育訓練模式有效運作。

This research paper aimed to develop an educational training model based on the traits of the volunteers in the environmental protection and preservation organizations. After reviewing many theoretical studies and professional experiences in the field, the researcher formulated an educational training model. Through a systematic evaluation process, the adaptability of the model was examined. Finally, a case study was conducted and the results of the implementation were then taken into account to amend the model.
The outcome of this study was supported by the documentary analysis and qualitative data including interviews, on-site observations, and audio- and video-recording. Throughout the study, the key factors affecting the model were reviewed and analyzed. The findings on the case group allowed the researcher to propose the following principles regarding to the educational training model for environmental protection and preservation volunteers:

I. Emphasizing on the molding of the training objectives: The molding process is to gather the consensus of volunteers’ opinions about the training objectives, which provides solid base for the design phase of the training project.
II. Adjusting the dilemma in formulating the training project: The discrepancies between the leader-oriented and the subordinate-oriented project designs would both encounter different problems. And they must be adjusted accordingly.
III. Developing the educational training project flexibly: During the development stage before implementation, the project should be decided as knowledge-oriented or activity-oriented. Besides, more opportunities should be provided for volunteers to learn in natural circumstances.
IV. Stressing on the feedback of management control: the outcome of the evaluation becomes an effective management tool. Besides, the feedback allows immediate adjustment and conclusive evaluation during the implementation.
V. Enhancing the sensibility on the condition of the volunteers: Under the structure of this model, the organization should enhance the sensibility on the condition of the individual volunteers so that the training model can work efficiently.
