無線網狀網路最近已成為一個新的無線存取技術,並引起了大量人的注意。它提供了使用者一個寬頻的無線存取。透過這個無線網狀網路所提供的服務,使用者可以在戶外享用一個隨時隨地都可和別人講電話的樂趣。然而,這種多點傳送的方式並不能滿足語音的品質。因此,我們提出了一個用多重路徑來調整的方式來傳送語音。藉由實驗顯示,我們的方法的確可以比傳統的多重路徑傳送更能提供語音的品質。且我們所提出的方法在不同的拓樸下都能達到很好的效果。最後,我們的方法雖然佔用比較多的網路資源,但不致於造成其他使用者的枯竭。
The wireless mesh network (WMN) is a new broadband Internet access technology drawing significant attention these days. It provides an alternative technology for last-mile broadband Internet access. Through the services provided by the WMN, users can enjoy always-on (anytime and anywhere) communication even in an outdoor environment.
However, the wireless multi-hop transmission may not support QoS requirements for voice. Hence, we develop a multi-path delivery method to transmit the voice packet. By using our multi-path adaptation method, we show that our method perform better than other multi-path methods, and can meet the several requirements simultaneously because our method takes the network state into consideration. From the results in different topologies, we can find that its high capacity. Finally, we can conclude that although our modified SCTP consume more bandwidth than UDP, it has substantial improvement for the QoS of VoIP. And it won''t cause the starvation of other users.
