本研究主要是探討如何以組合型Web Services導入於異質知識平台系統間知識的分享，其主要做法是透過Web Services開放的環境與跨平台的特性，針對企業與企業間或企業內知識文件的搜尋、分享、儲存的困難性，提出一套解決架構。在此架構下，系統內部提供以下6種基本服務：知識文件查詢服務(QWS-Query Web Services)：提供外部知識平台搜尋本系統的知識文件的目的；搜尋外部知識庫服務(OWS-Outsourcing Web Services)：提供系統搜尋外部知識系平台的知識文件；知識文件訂閱服務(SWS-Subscribe Web Services)：提供內部知識文件訂閱的工作；知識文件編輯器服務(EWS-Editor Web Services)：提供使用者可以直接在線上編輯知識文件；轉接器服務(AWS-Adapter Web Services)：作為系統內部服務互相呼叫時的轉接器；與知識文件轉換服務(TWS-Translation Web Services)：透過此服務來轉換文件格式。
此外，透過組裝與串流服務的方式，將上述基本服務予以組合，搜尋組合型服務、訂閱組合型服務與編輯組合型服務等3個組合型服務，得以提供更豐富的系統功能；換句話說，將系統的運作流程利用服務包裝起來，使用者只要面對單ㄧ服務，就可完成複雜的知識系統作業流程。經由系統實作完成後，我們發現透過此架構確實簡化異質知識平台間的知識分享的困難性，企業也可因此提升內部知識管理的效益。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the information sharing among heterogeneous knowledge management systems based on the composite Web Services. A framework is proposed to solve the difficulty of information searching, sharing and storage among enterprises by the crossing-platform characteristic of Web Services. In the system, it provides the following six services: Query Web Services (QWS): provides these exterior platforms to search the knowledge documents in our system; Outsourcing Web Services (OWS): provides our system to search the knowledge documents of exterior platforms; Subscribe Web Services (SWS): provides the subscription of knowledge documents from the knowledge management systems; Editor Web Services (EWS): supports users to edit the documents with a web-based XML editor; Adapter Web Services (AWS): acts as an adapter for these services provided in our system; Translation Web Services (TWS): provides the translations for these documents obtained from other platforms into the specific format defined in its own system.
In addition, these services are composed to provide abundant system functions by assembling and streaming technologies. In here, we provide the following three composite web services: composite services of searching, composite services of subscribing and composite services of editing. The users then can use one composite web service to complete the complex processes of the knowledge management system. After the implementation of all composite web services in the system, we found that it easily achieved the information sharing among the heterogeneous knowledge management systems under the framework, and all the enterprises can promote their inner knowledge management effectiveness.
